• Support six Family Law Attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial preparation • Independently manage complex family law cases with minimal supervision and take ownership of day-to-day case progression • Prepare, review, and file pleadings, declarations, financial disclosures, discovery, subpoenas, and other legal documents • Coordinate court deadlines, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party experts • Organize and analyze financial records, executive compensation, RSUs, stock options, retirement assets, business interests, and other complex marital estate documentation • Assist attorneys with settlement conferences, mediation, and trial preparation • Maintain organized case files while ensuring compliance with California Family Law procedures and court rules • Deliver exceptional client service with professionalism, empathy, and discretion • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff in a fully remote, technology-driven environment
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of dedicated California Family Law Paralegal experience
- At least one year of full-time experience handling matters before the Santa Clara County Superior Court strongly preferred
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written)
- Extensive experience supporting high-net-worth family law matters
- Strong knowledge of California Family Law procedures, judicial forms, financial disclosures, and litigation deadlines
- Ability to independently manage complex cases with minimal supervision
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong computer proficiency and comfort working in a fully remote environment
- Professional maturity, emotional intelligence, and sound judgment

Role Description We are looking for case managers that manage the well-being of assigned clients and guide them through all the details and processes related to their cases. Responsible for providing invaluable support to attorneys and their staff by overseeing case files, managing caseload requirements, and providing oversight of case billings, budgets, and timelines. Role Description In this role, you will… - Analyze and process attorney invoices for payment. - Assess and respond to law firm appeals. - Check expense reserves to confirm adequacy for invoice payment, and notify claims consultant when reserves are low or need to be increased. - Facilitate law firm timekeeper approval. - Monitor age of invoices and alert the claims team when bills in queue exceed 30 days. - Assist with payment of bills below paralegal review threshold when needed. - Identify firms that may be appropriate for audit or billing training due to non-compliant billing practices and report to Litigation Management Team regarding same. - Coordinate audit calls or billing training on behalf of Litigation Management Counsel. - Assist in the creation of training modules. - Support functional area as needed and as requested by supervising manager.
