Head, Product Control & Accounting

• Ensure that financial statements accurately reflect the financial health of the business across multiple entities and regions • Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting at the holding company level • Coordinating the accounting and month-end closing process for the holding entity and its subsidiaries • Oversee global accounting operations, including intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations, to ensure alignment with consolidated financial reporting requirements • Ensure IFRS compliance and adherence to local statutory regulations, managing regulatory reporting across all jurisdictions • Develop and manage global cost allocation methodologies, ensuring transparent and accurate reporting of shared expenses • Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure financial integrity for high-volume, multi-entity operations • Collaborate closely with finance leadership on process improvement initiatives and direct accounting processes implementation for new entities and markets • Manage relationships with auditors and oversee external audits for holding company and group financial statements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent required
  • 10+ years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role in a multi-country, multi-entity environment
  • Extensive experience with IFRS, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations
  • Big 4 experience is strongly preferred, particularly in audit or advisory services
  • Strong understanding of multi-currency consolidations
  • Strong track record of delivering in fast-paced environments.

Role Description The Control Accounting Specialist I is responsible for facilitating money movements and bank account reconciliations based on daily transactions for clients of Ultimus Fund Solutions. Qualifications - An undergraduate degree in business administration, accounting, tax, finance, or related field. - 1-3 years of experience in an accounting, reconciliation, or finance related role. - Experience working in the Mutual Fund Industry. - Equivalent education and experience will be considered. Requirements - Instructs custody movements from daily money movement activity. - Reviews accuracy of daily money movements to and from custody bank accounts; follows-up on discrepancies. - Enters, releases, and approves wires to and from custody banks by predetermined deadlines. - Enters, releases, and approves wires for shareholder redemption requests. - Assists with daily research on any outstanding items regarding bank account reconciliation. - Reviews and decides ACH and checks positive pay items. - Facilitates federal and state tax withholding payments. - Reconciles assigned bank accounts to ensure items are resolved in a timely manner. - Accurately reports aged reconciliation items. - Assists the Fund Accounting department regarding any questions that arise in any dollar or share discrepancies. - Coordinates follow-up of outstanding bank account reconciliation items with internal departments to ensure timely resolution. - May perform other duties as required and assigned.
