Job Description
Strategic Business Development Director - Platform Partnerships
Supermetrics
Role Description Every serious MarTech-, AdTech-, and Data- platform is now competing to build customer value in the agentic era of AI. While model capability is improving quickly, an AI agent is only as good as the cross-channel context it can reason over. Supermetrics provides that context: the governed, normalized marketing data and semantic layer that platforms can trust and build their own products on top of. This role exists to turn that demand into commercial reality, providing our partners speed to market and technological reliability. Your role will center on embedded and OEM partnerships with application and data platforms, delivering the connectivity and context that help someone else’s product perform. The immediate opportunity is with platforms building agentic experiences, where governed context is the differentiator, but it extends to the analytics, reporting, and data products the same foundation powers. - Revenue from embedded/platform deals across a designated set of application and data platforms - fewer, larger, multi-quarter agreements, not transactional volume. - The full deal, from first conversation through commercial structure and close: embedded agreements, API and data-layer licensing, white-label connectivity, context, and governance. - The GTM for the segment, built with product and leadership including how we package connectivity, context, and governance for partners. - Senior relationships inside target platforms, at product, platform, and executive altitude - positioning Supermetrics as strategic infrastructure, not a vendor. - The narrative that translates our technical capabilities into business value for a partner's product roadmap and AI strategy. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in enterprise or strategic business development, or platform and ISV sales, with a history of closing complex, multi-quarter deals in which the customer builds on what you sold. - Deep fluency in the MarTech / AdTech / data ecosystem, and a senior network to match, including product and corporate-development personas, not just marketing buyers. - Experience selling to or through product organizations, with the data-infrastructure literacy to discuss APIs, embedded/OEM licensing, and semantic/data layers credibly. - Genuine fluency in the agentic-AI landscape — you can articulate why governed data and context matter to an AI agent, and to the data products moving toward it. - Authentic executive presence: you can bring a technical vision into a C-suite setting and secure support. - Experienced in creating go-to-market strategies from the ground up, working across international markets, and traveling as needed for the position. Requirements - This role is fully remote and open to candidates based in Delaware, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Florida, Indiana, New Jersey, South Carolina, Georgia, Maryland, New York, Texas, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Vermont, and Virginia. - The on target earnings (OTE) for this role is $300K to $350K USD annually. These figures reflect the compensation offered for remote U.S. based candidates. Actual earnings may vary depending on individual performance against sales targets. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. Benefits - Fully paid medical/dental/vision benefits (for employee & dependents) - Generous PTO - 401k with matching - Options - Tech package - Home office and wifi stipend. Company Description Supermetrics builds an end-to-end marketing intelligence platform, with 15% of global advertising spend reported through our products.
