Role Description PsychBright Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the mental health care industry. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will help manage and improve the operational systems that move patients from first inquiry through enrollment, scheduling, treatment, and billing. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our practice to ensure the delivery of exceptional mental health services. This position requires an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about enhancing operational efficiency to support clinicians and improve patient experiences. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to develop and implement streamlined processes, manage staffing and scheduling, and oversee compliance with healthcare regulations. You will also be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives that align with our mission to provide accessible, high-quality mental health care. If you are a proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture, PsychBright Health offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and growing organization focused on mental well-being. - Manage daily operations of the mental health practice to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. - Coordinate schedules and staffing to optimize clinician availability and patient access to care. - Implement and oversee policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. - Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient satisfaction and service delivery. - Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, billing, and expense management. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational effectiveness and reduce costs. - Oversee facility management, including coordination of maintenance and procurement of necessary supplies. - Serve as a liaison between staff, patients, and external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and professionally. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 2 years experience in operations management within a healthcare or mental health setting. - Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and best practices. - Experience with RCM and billing practices. - Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. - Proficiency with practice management software and healthcare information systems. - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff and patients. - Ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets efficiently. - Nice to have: experience with Zapier, Notion, CRM systems, or no-code tools.
