Role Description Are you an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager seeking a flexible, remote opportunity? Our staffing company is looking for highly skilled and empathetic independent contractors to support law firms nationwide. This is a virtual independent contractor position, offering the freedom to manage your caseload from anywhere. You'll be instrumental in ensuring client well-being and providing invaluable support to legal teams. What You'll Do: - Client Advocacy: Guiding clients through every step of their case, ensuring timely communication regarding appointments and deadlines, and arranging transportation for medical treatments when necessary. - Case Coordination: Opening and managing client files in case management software, meticulously tracking progress, and ensuring all required documents, forms, and authorizations are gathered and confirmed. - Team Collaboration: Working closely with law firm counterparts, insurance companies, and medical providers to facilitate smooth communication and ensure clients receive necessary legal and medical support. - Oversight & Reporting: Managing medical requests and treatment plans, ensuring adherence to prescribed schedules, and preparing essential reports. - Compliance: Adhering strictly to all software policies and procedures and consistently meeting or exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Qualifications - Extensive Experience: Deep knowledge of healthcare and legal processes within personal injury, including a working knowledge of medical records, legal documents, and HIPAA practices. - Exceptional Organizational Skills: Superior follow-up, organizational, and document management skills, with a keen eye for detail and precision in filing. - Communication Excellence: Fluent English at a C1 level or above is required, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. - Independent & Collaborative Spirit: The ability to work autonomously, follow instructions diligently, and seamlessly integrate into a team-oriented environment. - Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software and strong typing skills. - Empathy & Professionalism: A compassionate approach to client interaction, coupled with the ability to maintain professionalism with attorneys, experts, and all stakeholders. - Educational Background: A High School Diploma is required; a BS/BA in Business or equivalent experience is preferred, and a Paralegal certificate is a plus. Requirements - A minimum of two years of legal case management experience is preferred, along with any prior insurance industry experience. Role Description The Music Notation Specialist Assistant provides music notation, audio creation, and audio editing support to the Music Notation Specialist and the Course Development Team at Berklee POPP, contributing to the production of online courses for Berklee Online. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with a variety of software applications.
