Full TimeRemoteTeam 11-50H1B No Sponsor

Role Description We’re looking for a Director of Marketing to own our go-to-market strategy and drive Data X-Ray’s growth into its next phase. This is a senior individual contributor and people-management role that sits at the intersection of product marketing and demand generation — with a deliberate lean (~60/40) toward product marketing, given the technical depth of our platform and the sophistication of our buyers. You’ll inherit a strong foundation: a marketer who reports to you, established agency and fractional relationships, and an engaged leadership team. Your job is to build on that foundation — sharpening our market narrative, scaling pipeline, and transitioning fractional support into repeatable, owned processes. What You'll Own - Product Marketing (~60%) - Define and evolve Data X-Ray’s positioning, messaging, and competitive narrative across data security, data governance, and AI agent enablement use cases. - Own go-to-market materials: pitch decks, battlecards, solution briefs, case studies, and website copy. - Develop deep expertise in our competitive landscape and arm sales with differentiated, high-conviction positioning. - Partner with sales and solutions engineering to support complex enterprise deal cycles with tailored materials. - Lead launch strategy for new product capabilities and integrations. - Demand Generation (~40%) - Own the demand generation strategy and execution. Develop direct leadflow through multiple channels and work with partners and external agencies to drive qualified pipeline. - Project-manage agency relationships across paid, SEO, events, and content — holding partners to outcomes, not just outputs. - Transition fractional marketing support into scalable, business-as-usual processes. - Instrument and report on pipeline contribution, working closely with HubSpot to track performance and attribution. - Team & Operations - Manage one direct report with room to grow. - Help define the playbook for scaling the marketing function as Data X-Ray grows. Qualifications - 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with significant tenure in high growth enterprise SaaS. - Strong product marketing background — you can translate complex technical capability into crisp, compelling narratives for senior enterprise buyers. - Domain experience in data governance, data security, or cybersecurity is strongly preferred; you should be credible in a room with a CISO or Chief Data Officer. - Proven track record managing demand generation through external agencies — you know how to set direction, evaluate creative, and drive accountability. - Comfortable working in a high-ownership, scaling environment where you set the agenda as much as you execute it. - Strong project management instincts: you can manage agencies, fractionals, internal stakeholders, and your own deliverables in parallel. - Experience with Monday and HubSpot or similar CRM / marketing automation platforms. - Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write a sharp one-pager and present to an enterprise customer in the same week. Nice to have - Experience marketing into regulated industries — financial services, government, or healthcare. - Familiarity with federal or public sector go-to-market. - Prior experience at a company scaling from growth-stage to enterprise. Benefits - Real ownership — you’ll shape how a fast-growing enterprise platform goes to market. - A product that matters — we operate at the intersection of data security, compliance, and AI readiness, three of the most consequential problems in the enterprise today. - Direct access to leadership — you’ll work closely with the CEO and senior team, not through layers of management. - Fully remote and flexible — we trust you to deliver. - 💰 Competitive pay. - 📈 Meaningful Equity as a fast-growing Series A company. - 💻 Workstation and home office stipend. - 🏝️ 25 days Paid Vacation (unlimited unpaid). - 🏡 Remote first, flexible working.
