Role Description We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic and growing engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency. This is a remote-first role, but candidates must be living in Germany and possess at least B1-level proficiency in German for internal communication and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. - Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability through architecture best practices and monitoring. - Work closely with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD and containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes). - Maintain and enforce cloud security policies, IAM configurations, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR). - Monitor infrastructure health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or cloud-native solutions. - Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis. - Contribute to infrastructure documentation and internal knowledge sharing. Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles. - Proficient in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). - Solid background in Docker and Kubernetes. - Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python). - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps. - Understanding of cloud security and compliance. - Residing in Germany with valid work authorization. - German language proficiency at B1 level or higher. - Fluent in English (spoken and written). Preferred Qualifications - Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). - Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments. - Knowledge of SRE practices or experience in platform engineering. Role Description We are seeking an experienced OCI Cloud Engineer to architect, deploy, and operate large-scale, secure, and resilient cloud environments on Oracle’s next-generation public cloud. In this role you will own the full OCI engineering lifecycle, from landing-zone design and infrastructure-as-code, through workload migration and ongoing operations, including cost optimization and observability. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge of OCI services with strong DevOps and automation fundamentals, and will partner with database, application, and security teams to deliver well-engineered cloud platforms that support mission-critical Oracle and non-Oracle workloads.
