Role Description We are seeking a skilled Jira Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize our Atlassian Jira environment. The ideal candidate will ensure Jira supports our project management, agile development, and workflow needs while maintaining system stability, scalability, and security. Key Responsibilities - System Administration - Install, configure, and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and related Atlassian tools (Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.). - Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and roles. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches/upgrades. - Configuration & Customization - Design and implement workflows, schemes, custom fields, dashboards, and reports. - Automate processes using Jira automation rules, scripts, and plugins. - Integrate Jira with third-party applications and internal systems. - Support & Training - Provide technical support to end-users and resolve Jira-related issues. - Develop documentation, training materials, and conduct workshops for teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Jira solutions. - Governance & Security - Ensure compliance with organizational policies and data security standards. - Implement best practices for Jira usage and administration. - Regularly audit configurations and permissions. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience as a Jira Administrator (2-5 years preferred). - Strong knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. - Experience with Atlassian Marketplace plugins (e.g., ScriptRunner, Tempo, Zephyr). - Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). - Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, and scripting languages (Groovy, Python, or Shell). - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills - Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator certification. - Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of ITIL processes for service management. - Ability to manage large-scale Jira instances with complex workflows.

Role Description Serves as the subject matter expert for all things SharePoint.
