Role Description We're seeking an experienced and highly creative Art Manager to lead and elevate the visual identity of ELSA across product, marketing, and brand channels. This role will drive consistency and innovation in design, manage a growing team of visual designers/illustrators, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Engineering. Figma knowledge is a strong plus, as we integrate tightly with digital workflows across design and development. Key Responsibilities - Creative Direction & Brand Stewardship: Define and maintain a cohesive visual language across all user touchpoints (product UI, marketing campaigns, social media, ads, etc.). - Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, providing clear feedback and fostering growth. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Creative Director, Product Managers, UX designers, engineers, and marketers to ensure visual outputs align with business and user goals. - Execution & Oversight: Guide the design execution of campaigns, assets, and in-app visuals, ensuring top-notch quality, brand alignment, and cultural relevance. - Process Optimization: Establish scalable design systems and workflows; introduce best practices for version control, asset management, and team coordination. - Tool Utilization: Utilize tools like Figma to streamline design collaboration and handoff processes (hands-on skills in Figma are a plus). Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in visual design, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead capacity. - Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity, product interface design, and marketing creative work. - Experience working in consumer-facing tech companies or education/learning platforms is preferred. - Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Figma is highly preferred. - Passion for language learning and global accessibility is a strong advantage.
