Role Description Help shape the next chapter of a New York City icon. Orwashers Bakery has been crafting legendary breads and pastries since 1916. As our Director of Sales, you'll lead the strategy to bring them to retailers nationwide. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the CFO/COO, built to drive the next phase of Orwashers' retail and foodservice growth. The Director of Sales will play a critical leadership role in driving sustainable growth and expanding market presence. You'll own the full sales function: setting strategy, managing key accounts, and partnering closely with operations, production, and marketing to bring it to life. This role requires someone who is comfortable both developing the sales strategy and working closely with buyers. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute sales strategies across retail grocery and foodservice channels, with an initial focus on the East Coast and Midwest. - Own key account relationships with specialty and natural grocery partners, foodservice distributors, and restaurant groups. - Manage pricing, trade spend, promotional planning, and customer negotiations. - Collaborate with brokers and distribution partners to maximize reach and in-store execution. - Partner cross-functionally with operations, production, finance, and marketing to align sales goals with capacity and brand positioning. - Build the foundation for a growing sales team, with the expectation of hiring additional sales talent as the business scales. Qualifications - 8+ years of progressive sales experience in food, with a focus on retail grocery and/or foodservice. - Experience selling into in-store bakery departments required. - Demonstrated success managing specialty or natural grocery accounts (Whole Foods experience a strong plus). - Solid track record managing pricing, trade spend, and customer negotiations. - Experience working with brokers and distribution networks. - Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment without a lot of hierarchy or hand-holding. - Willingness to travel as needed. Role Description As a Sales Development Representative at Lexipol, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by making outbound calls and setting appointments for our software-as-a-service (SaaS) sales team. You will be the first point of contact with potential customers, so a positive and professional attitude is a must. This is a performance-based role, where success will be measured by efficiency and effectiveness of activities in generating interest in our solutions and setting qualified appointments for the sales team. This position is remote, #LI-Remote. The SDR team makes initial contact via outbound calls and emails with prospective clients.
