This position reports into Performance Controlling team for SI and offers the chance for you to grow, contribute and learn as far as your growth mindset takes you. The Financial Analyst will work closely with all business units within SI as well as CFR, GBS and the entire SI Performance Controlling team (local and global). This role is responsible for the consolidation of BU reporting and leads the consolidation process for Budgeting and Forecasting. In addition, he/she will be driving the monthly/quarterly/ annual closing processes while ensuring that the Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines are followed. Significant time will be allotted to drive digitalization and automation through the SI finance organization. This hybrid position is based in Peachtree Corners, GA. Remote work may be considered based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Remote eligibility is generally limited to current Siemens employees or candidates with a proven track record of success in remote work environments. You will make impact with the following responsibilities. The Financial Analyst must possess strong analytical and inter-personal skills as this position will communicate with multiple levels of management and controlling. Key tasks include but are not limited to: Act as the primary SI interface to the BU finance teams on SAC topics, including setup, timelines, enhancements, and issue resolution Providing hands-on SAC administration for forecast and budget cycles, troubleshooting, and coordination with IT to ensure accurate and on time submissionPreparation of monthly Divisional KPI reporting Month end activities including but not limited to cost center analysis, journal entries, allocation, and balance sheet reviews.Work closely with the extended SI finance community and continuously enhance and improve reporting processes. Drive digitalization and automation of controlling, reporting and planning process and tools. Perform financial statement validations and execute corrections in the systems (E1P, COPA, ESPRIT) Support and coordinate organizational structure in all relevant systems with the SI Business Units You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 8 + years of demonstrated ability in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting. Extensive experience with SAP, SAC, Smart reporting and Smart Analytics Advanced knowledge in Data Visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI Experience with KNIME, UI Path, Alteryx is a plus Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization Preferred Qualifications: Desire to be an active participant in a successful team Detail oriented, but able to synthesize complex topics for consumption by both executive management and colleagues.
