Title: Change and Configuration Manager Location: Huntsville United States Job Description: Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract and currently has an opening for and Change and Configuration Manager. This position focuses on leading teams in the continual enhancement of the Cloud One platform network and common services and will integrate with other platform clouds including AWS and Azure. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness. Location: These positions will be hybrid remote. Candidates will be required to work onsite as needed. Candidates are ideally located near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) or work in Huntsville, AL. Primary Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and oversee the Change Management process at the portfolio level, ensuring consistent adoption and compliance across all projects & workstreams within the program. - Serve as the primary Change Management authority for a large-scale Cloud Hosting program spanning multiple CSPs, ensuring all change activity is governed under a unified, cohesive framework - Ensure all projects within the portfolio adhere to establish Change Management policies, procedures, and reporting requirements, providing guidance and oversight to project-level change coordinators as needed. - Lead the program's transition from a pre-deployment approval model (TRB/CAB) to an agile-aligned model where work is approved through sprint planning and PI planning, with the CAB serving as the implementation gateway rather than a development approval body. - Chair and facilitate CAB meetings, ensuring changes are properly documented, reviewed, risk-assessed, and approved prior to implementation. - Collaborate with program leadership, PMO, and project teams to align Change Manage process with Agile delivery cadences, including sprint ceremonies and PI Planning events. Process & Compliance: - Establish and maintain Change Management documentation including policies, standard operating procedures, change templates, and reporting dashboards - Monitor and report on change compliance, change success rates, backout/rollback activity across all program projects, providing regular metrics and trend analysis to program leadership and the PMO. - Identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement across the change lifecycle and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Ensure Change Management processes are compatible with and responsive to DoD and Federal compliance requirements, integrating relevant framework requirements (DESMF, RMF, etc) alongside ITIL best practices. Basic Qualifications: - Requires a Bachelors degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree. - Must have an active Secret clearance. - U.S. citizenship required. - Strong background in ITIL service management, with demonstrated experience in designing and implementing Change Management processes in complex, multi-project environments. - Jira, Service Now, and/or GitLab experience required. - Familiarity with DoD acquisition and program management frameworks including DESMF, waterfall, and agile methodologies, with the ability to operate effectively within a hybrid governance environment. - Experience supporting Agile transformations or transitioning traditional Change Management processes to align with Agile/SAFe delivery models, including integration with PI Planning and sprint-based workflows. - Familiarity with cloud environments & multi-CSP architectures, with an understanding of change risk considerations unique to cloud-hosted infrastructure. - Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to include compliance and process adoption across multiple teams without direct authority. - Demonstrated strong written communication skills with the ability to produce both formal process documentation (SOPs, policies) and informal reference materials (job aids, quick reference guides) tailored to varied audiences. - Experience supporting the development of training materials and end-user guidance preferred.
