Revenue Cycle Manager, Lab Billing
Rockylabs
• Oversee all aspects of the laboratory revenue cycle, billing, and reimbursement operations • Manage the full end-to-end laboratory revenue cycle including charge capture, claim submission, payment posting, and A/R follow-up • Supervise and develop a billing team of approximately 40 • Ensure accurate CPT (80000 series) and ICD-10 coding for all laboratory procedures in compliance with payer, Medicare, and Medicaid requirements • Oversee claim edits, denials, appeals, and reimbursement optimization • Establish and maintain SOPs, KPIs, and billing workflows to improve accuracy and compliance • Collaborate with laboratory operations, finance, and IT to resolve billing or system issues • Prepare RCM performance reports and identify revenue leakage, denial trends, and process improvements
Job Requirements
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in clinical laboratory billing, including CPT and ICD-10 coding for lab services
- Experience with AdvancedMD preferred
- Supervisory or management role in a medical billing department for at least three (3) years is preferred
