SMB Account Executive
Brisk Teaching
• Identify and prospect new school and district accounts through targeted outreach, leveraging existing networks, and participating in educational events. • Guide prospective clients through the sales journey, from initial contact to closing, ensuring clear communication and a tailored approach. • Develop strong relationships with education leaders, understanding their challenges and goals, and positioning Brisk’s offerings as valuable solutions. • Travel approximately 10-20% of the time to meet with prospective schools and districts, attend educational conferences in the territory, and represent Brisk at industry events. • Work closely with the Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and a seamless transition from prospect to customer. • Gather insights from potential customers to share with our product and leadership teams, helping shape future product developments and strategies. • Accurately track and update prospect interactions and pipeline activity in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), such as outreach targets, lead conversion rates, and revenue booking contributions.
Job Requirements
- BA or BS in any field.
- Sales Experience: 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, lead generation, or a related role, preferably in SaaS or EdTech.
- Tools Experience: Prior familiarity, and ideally work experience, with Salesforce, Gong, and Outreach.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
- Customer-Focused: Passionate about understanding and solving customer challenges, with a genuine interest in K-12 education.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Team-Oriented: Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the best outcomes for our clients and company.
