Regional Planning Assistant, SME Manager

• Lead and administrate the SME organization • To fully understand business requirements, scope of work and ERP knowledge by the assigned functional area • To ensure current business processes are effectively supported by ERP • To ensure the functional requirements are configured with opportunity for future enhancement • To provide ERP training for end users • Analyze process gaps and establish best practice with site, regional and global team leads • Ensure business processes with major deviation from Corporate business practice are documented and finalised via closed loop processes/procedures • Ensure functional training materials for end users are properly structured and well delivered in the training sessions • Ensure end users are being trained and are prepared for new ERP system • Ensure business scenarios are well evaluated during integration testing with related functional area • Ensure co-ordination of data clean-up and data mapping are effectively validated in the new system • Ensure smooth implementation with no interruption to business towards go-live schedules • Participate in ERP upgrades and co-ordinate global enhancement of ERP • Coordinate necessary revision classes to gear up system knowledge for related end-user

Job Requirements

  • 4 years+ in functional role
  • Degree /Advanced functional qualification preferred
  • Silver Lean certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of functional baseline, processes, and systems
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies with practical experience in their application
  • Advanced technical expertise in tools and systems relevant to the functional area
  • Ability to develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for IT enhancements and projects
  • Basic project management skills, including planning, coordination, and follow-up
  • Ability to develop clear procedures, playbooks, and training materials for the functional area
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset
