Role Description The Senior Manager of Caselaw Content Expansion will manage the Content Legal Specialist team and will be responsible for overseeing the management and expansion of caselaw content initiatives, with a strong emphasis on leveraging new Generative AI developments. The position will work closely with Product on managing content expansion initiatives and the teams that support Product for content initiative work. This role reports to the Senior Director of Caselaw Enhancements. - Manage and oversee the Content Legal Specialist teams, Content Analysis teams, and COOL teams to ensure quality content analysis and content expansion receive sufficient support. - Collaborate with Product teams to manage and execute content expansion initiatives, with a focus on new Generative AI developments. - Provide proactive workforce planning to ensure that GEO has the appropriate staffing footprint to support product and upcoming AI initiatives. - Develop and implement strategies for expanding caselaw content, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs. - Monitor and track progress towards achieving content expansion goals, providing regular updates to senior leadership. - Lead change management and advance Gen AI across the GEO Case Law organization. - Identify and resolve bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and quality issues across the content expansion and end-to-end case and case-related workflows. - Ensure timely and accurate delivery of expanded content to Lexis+ and other LexisNexis platforms. - Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support content expansion initiatives. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge-sharing mechanisms for the content expansion teams. - Provide regular feedback, coaching, training, and talent development to team members. - Actively manage the budget for content expansion initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost savings and ensuring value through vendor management and contract negotiation. - Monitor and manage content quality across both Generative AI and non-Generative AI workflows to ensure high standards are maintained. - Responsible for managing BAU operations as needed to ensure consistent and reliable content delivery. - Oversee the workflows for digital and print delivery of expanded caselaw content, maintaining editorial product quality, accuracy, timeliness, and cost management. - Collaborate with commercial stakeholders to create new global caselaw content opportunities to drive the customer experience forward. - Develop meaningful caselaw metrics and analytics in alignment with Global Editorial Operations targets. - Execute on automation and drive adoption of global tools and systems delivery, applying cutting-edge content management systems/architecture to streamline processes. - Establish and monitor objectives by providing regular feedback, coaching, training, and talent development. - Execute on cross-functional coordination and support of global initiatives. - Drive a culture that encourages learning, AI-first thinking, and thoughtful, timely decision-making. - Collaborate with the Technology team to identify and implement automation opportunities, leveraging AI and other technologies to streamline the caselaw workflow and enhance quality control. - Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the performance of the caselaw workflow, highlighting key metrics, issues, and improvement initiatives. - Monitor and manage content quality across both Generative AI and non-Generative AI workflows to ensure high standards are maintained. - Manage BAU operations to ensure consistent and reliable content delivery as needed.
