We have an opportunity for a Claims Administrator on the Individual Claims team. ** We will also consider candidates willing to work a part-time schedule. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage the Client’s journey throughout the life of a claim from claim notification through to final settlement. Our aim is to settle claims fairly, first time and in a timely manner. This role requires a self-motivated individual capable of handling complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision. While training will be provided, the ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and making decisions within established guidelines. When you join the Claims Team, you will be given structured on-the-job training with full guidance and support from your team leader, manager, and team members. You will be trained on a phased basis in all aspects of the life of a claim as well as the technical side to help you build confidence in your role. You will be safe in the knowledge that there is a continued strong support network around you. - Handle death notifications and communicate claim requirements to clients - Process claims efficiently within service level agreements - Ensure clear communication and compliance with SOX, state, and regulatory requirements - Identify and escalate potential risks or suspicious activities - Utilize our Knowledge Base for guidance on claims processes - Collaborate with internal partners such as Legal and Compliance when needed - Receive training on death claims follow-ups and related transactions - Build relationships across departments to handle client requests effectively - Participate in team projects as opportunities arise - Receive support for career development within Sun Life Qualifications - Third Level qualification desirable but not required - Minimum of 1+ years of administrative experience in a detail-oriented role - Previous Claims Experience in a similar role is highly desirable OR Knowledge and/or experience of the Life Insurance Industry is a plus - Proven track record of strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to handle written and telephone inquiries of a sensitive nature - Strong interpersonal skills as this role requires collaboration and engagement of various stakeholders - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Benefits - 22 Days Annual Leave - increasing to 25 days based on length of service - Maternity Leave, Paternity Leave, Parental Leave - €275 Fitness Reimbursement for gym membership annually - Annual Bonus plan based on Company and Individual Performance - 100% Private Health Insurance cover for employees and 50% contribution for family members from date of hire - S&S Club, Wellness Programme, GP Scheme, Flu Vaccines, Eye Care Scheme as well as lots of discounted events and classes - Defined Contribution Pension Scheme

Role Description Serves as the subject matter expert for all things SharePoint.
