Job Description

Passive Network Audit Analyst

IPV7

• Perform technical analyses of FTTH/FTTx networks, evaluating backbone, access, cabling, CTOs (optical termination boxes), CEOs (optical splice closures), routes and other passive network elements; • Evaluate designs, inventories, technical documentation and as-built records, identifying inconsistencies, operational risks and opportunities for improvement; • Analyze network engineering criteria, including splitting architecture, asset occupancy, capacity saturation and design risks; • Audit the quality and reliability of georeferenced network documentation (GIS, KMZ/KML and inventory systems); • Work with tools and systems used by ISPs, validating consistency between documentation, records and existing infrastructure; • Evaluate signal indicators and CPE telemetry, correlating performance data with potential causes in the passive network; • Consolidate operational and technical data, turning information into KPIs, executive reports and strategic recommendations; • Classify risks and opportunities considering operational, financial impact and business continuity; • Support the preparation of audit and due diligence reports to support decision-making in provider acquisition processes.

Job Requirements

  • Solid experience with FTTH/FTTx networks and passive network infrastructure in ISPs;
  • Knowledge of backbone, access networks, CTOs (optical termination boxes), CEOs (optical splice closures), network documentation and inventory;
  • Experience analyzing audit evidence, technical reports and operational documentation;
  • Knowledge of georeferencing and GIS tools (Google Earth, My Maps, QGIS or similar);
  • Experience with systems such as OZmap, GeoGrid, ConnectMaster, IXC or equivalent tools;
  • Knowledge in signal level analysis, quality indicators and CPE telemetry;
  • Analytical profile, attention to detail and ability to produce technical and executive reports.

Qualifications - 8-12 years of experience overall. - Expert-level coding knowledge with an in-depth understanding of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines. - Deep understanding of outpatient claims coding and auditing. - Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high performance. - Expertise in outpatient and professional coding audits to ensure accurate code assignment and compliant reimbursement. - Exceptional time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Passion for auditing and a commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning. - Possess the CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) or CPC (Certified Professional Coder) credentials. - Superior knowledge of HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10-CM/PCS coding, and US healthcare payment methodologies for Commercial, Marketplace, Medicare, and Medicaid. - Experience with coding ambulatory surgery clinic claims and hospital observation claims to include injection and infusion claims. - Experience auditing high-cost drug and/or Durable Medical Equipment claims. - Completion of a bachelor's degree. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
