Student Success Program Manager
Stepful
• Own instructor scheduling across 90+ instructors and active certificate programs, ensuring every cohort has the right instructor at the right time • Coordinate sub coverage when instructors are unavailable, maintaining continuity for students • Handle invoice operations — reviewing, processing, and tracking instructor invoices accurately and on time • Own cohort setup operations, ensuring every program is configured and ready to launch without friction • Serve as the operational point of contact for instructors, fielding questions and resolving scheduling issues as they arise • Coordinate and support a network of 1099 coaches who provide first-line support to Stepful students • Lead onboarding of new coaches and drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing to ensure communication reflects Stepful's supportive tone • Meet weekly 1:1 with coaches to review student load, provide actionable feedback, and support their development • Assess coach quality and provide constructive guidance on how they can best support students • Track student, cohort, and partner-level outcomes — including retention, graduation, certification, externship placement, and job placement rates • Run weekly or biweekly cohort-specific task force meetings to assess progress and hit success metrics • Proactively maintain data and reports to support the client success team • Communicate with enterprise partners on student progress
Job Requirements
- 3+ years in operations, program coordination, or workforce/staffing operations
- Experience managing scheduling across a distributed workforce — instructors, contractors, tutors, or shift workers
- Strong tool-builder in Google Sheets and/or Airtable
- Ability to work closely with the hiring manager during a fast-moving leave coverage period, including multiple weekly check-ins and operational planning sessions
- Excellent async communicator who can coordinate across multiple teams using Slack
- Comfortable operating with SOPs in hand but limited ramp time
- Healthcare or education workforce experience is a plus, not required
- Start-up experience is a plus, not required
- Willingness and ability to work a EST time zone schedule, Monday through Friday
