Senior Project Executive
Thermo Systems
• Own delivery performance across a portfolio of complex projects including risk, schedule, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction • Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers to drive consistent, high-quality execution • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical project risks, issues, and customer concerns • Review and approve project forecasts, cost-to-complete reports, and financial projections • Ensure projects are delivered at or above target gross profit margins • Provide strategic oversight on project execution, contracts, and commercial performance • Support resource planning and staffing forecasts in partnership with engineering and business development • Align project execution with Thermo Systems standards, QMS requirements, and strategic objectives • Support business development efforts through staffing alignment and customer relationship support • Maintain executive-level relationships with customers, general contractors, and key partners • Champion a strong safety and quality culture across all project teams • Partner with engineering, operations, and business development to align delivery strategy and execution • Communicate clearly and proactively with internal leadership, customers, and stakeholders • Identify and escalate risks, constraints, and scope changes early • Drive alignment across teams to resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum • Ensure adherence to company policies, QMS standards, and project governance processes • Drive consistency and discipline in project delivery across the organization • Identify and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes • Support development and elevation of project management capabilities across Thermo Systems
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of experience in project or program delivery within industrial or technical environments
- Proven experience leading complex project portfolios and high-performing teams
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong executive leadership and team development capabilities
- Deep understanding of project financials, forecasting, and margin management
- Experience managing risk, contracts, and change control processes
- Strong knowledge of control systems and industrial project environments
- Ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- High level of organization, accountability, and execution discipline
- Proven ability to improve operational performance and delivery outcomes
