• Develop and maintain power system control philosophies for mission-critical facilities • Develop, maintain, and govern Sequences of Operations (SOO), Cause & Effect Matrices, Interlock Schedules, Alarm Philosophies, Failure Maps, and Operating Modes • Develop and review Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Software Design Specifications (SDS), and control system functional narratives • Resolve conflicts between SOO, flowcharts, Cause & Effect matrices, and software implementation across all operating modes • Translate electrical design intent into executable ACMS, PLC, and SCADA control strategies • Perform detailed reviews of control logic, software flowcharts, automation narratives, and system architectures • Conduct technical assessments of power system resilience, redundancy, and operational risk • Support FMEA and reliability assessments while evaluating transient conditions, restoration sequences, and failure scenarios • Develop and maintain FAT, SAT, IST, and commissioning test procedures for power system automation and control systems • Validate automation logic and operational scenarios through simulation, testing, and commissioning activities prior to deployment • Support value engineering efforts to optimise cost and performance of solutions • Review commissioning results and support issue resolution • Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering standards, tools, and processes • Support Business Development teams with technical input for proposals and bids as required • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align scope, schedule, and deliverables • Communicate clearly and proactively with internal teams, customers, and partners • Act as a technical interface between Engineering, Integration, and Operations teams • Support project leadership in identifying risks, resolving issues, and maintaining delivery alignment • Identify and escalate technical risks, constraints, or scope changes early • Adhere to company policies, QMS requirements, and established safety standards • Support and enhance the companys Quality Management System (QMS)

Role Description This role is structured as a 1099 independent contractor engagement and offers flexible remote work. We’re seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full life cycle recruiting across technical, engineering, and select non-technical roles. You’ll partner directly with hiring managers, build strategic sourcing pipelines, and shape exceptional candidate experiences that reflect Thermo’s culture and long-term growth goals. This role is for a recruiter who is proactive, organized, and excited to support a fast-moving and high-volume engineering organization. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field. - 1+ years of recruiting experience in construction recruiting professional services, engineering environments, manufacturing, or agency settings. Prior experience working in freelance or as an independent contractor is beneficial. - Proficiency with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and sourcing tools. - Strong interviewing and assessment capabilities. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. - Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously. - Collaborative, proactive, and committed to a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. - Must maintain a valid driver’s license, be eligible to work in the U.S., and remain fit for duty. • Manage and oversee ELV, controls network, and instrumentation installation activities across multiple concurrent data center projects. • Provide regional oversight of subcontractors, vendors, and field delivery teams performing integration and installation works. • Ensure installation activities are executed in accordance with approved design documentation, standards, and quality requirements. • Track installation progress, site readiness, punch lists, defects, and completion milestones across assigned projects. • Support escalation management and resolution of technical and delivery-related site challenges. • Oversee commissioning execution activities including FAT, SAT, I/O verification, and sequence validation. • Coordinate commissioning readiness activities between construction, integration, and commissioning teams. • Ensure testing documentation, commissioning records, and validation evidence are completed to required standards. • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans during commissioning activities. • Ensure systems meet operational, redundancy, and performance requirements prior to handover. • Align with Design Manager on constructability and design coherence. • Work with TPM to ensure site progress aligns with schedule and budget. • Support commissioning teams with validation documentation and testing evidence.
