Barclays Services Corp. seeks Sr Software Developer, AVP in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available): - Develop and maintain pre-trade functionality across the Securitized Products asset class with focus on the real-time pricing and automated quoting system for To Be Announced (TBA) Mortgage-Backed Securities. - Utilize C#, WPF (MVVM), WCF, Oracle (both database design and implementation), Solace, Python, and Tableau. - Contribute to all areas of system development, including client, server, and database, depending on business requirements. - Analyze large existing application frameworks written in C# and Java and utilize them for new development tasks. - Extend the WPF pricing application with new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes. - Develop new server-side Windows Services and WPF services. - Implement new reports using Tableau or equivalent data visualization tools. - Create Python scripts and ETL processes for data analysis. - Design relational database schema and implementation with Oracle. - Oversee hardware and software migrations to new platform. - May telecommute pursuant to company policies.
