Associate Technical Director, Archaeology
EBI Consulting
• Provide technical guidance and oversight for archaeological and cultural resource projects • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations • Oversee project review workflows and monitor project milestones and reporting schedules • Assist the Technical Director in maintaining and improving report templates and technical guidance documents • Supervise, mentor, and develop archaeological staff • Support proposal development, project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and pricing efforts • Participate in client meetings and industry events to support business development
Job Requirements
- Master's Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Historic Preservation, Cultural Resources Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of full-time professional archaeological experience
- Demonstrated experience managing archaeological projects and staff under federal, state, and local regulatory frameworks
- Principal Investigator qualifications in one or more states preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
- Strong technical writing, editing, and quality review skills
- Thorough understanding of cultural resource management practices, archaeological field methods, and historic preservation regulations, including NHPA, Section 106, and NEPA
