Role Description Short’s Travel Management, a leading provider of NCAA Athletic travel for collegiate athletics, has an immediate opening for a Sales & Account Specialist with its Account Management department. The Sales & Account Specialist plays a key support role across Sales and Account Management teams. This position helps drive growth and client satisfaction by supporting RFPs, sales initiatives, new client transitions, and ongoing account needs. In addition, this role serves as the primary account lead for a portfolio of low-need clients, ensuring consistent service delivery and proactive communication. This position may work remotely. Essential Functions: - Supports Sales and Account Management teams across RFPs, client transitions, proposals, and ongoing account needs. - Serves as primary day-to-day contact for assigned low-need accounts, managing routine requests, reporting, and communications. - Assists Account Managers with reporting, documentation, client communications, and internal coordination to support a positive client experience. - Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams. - Maintains accurate account information, leads coordination for renewals and ongoing service needs, and proactively monitors account health. - May assist in other departments or handle tasks outside of typical position scope for the benefit of clients or company. Qualifications - 1-3 years previous experience in account management, sales support, or client services. - Bachelor's degree preferred. - Strong organizational skills and previous experience managing projects. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - High attention to detail; comfort working with documentation, data, and deadlines. - Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams. - Proficiency with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Prior experience in athletics preferred.
