Intracardiac Echo (ICE) Training Lead

Role Description The Rhythm Solutions Division within Boston Scientific was designed to support and treat patients with heart arrhythmias – most commonly, atrial fibrillation. The goal of the ICE Training Lead is to support the growth of a best-in-market clinical field force through robust training programs that revolve around a new and innovative ICE System. This system will be used in conjunction with other BSC technologies such as WATCHMAN LAAC, FARAPULSE PFA, and the OPAL Mapping System. The Training Lead in this role will be responsible for building a new ICE-focused training curriculum for the field, in addition to partnering with the WATCHMAN and Electrophysiology Training Teams to incorporate ICE learnings into existing programs. This person will also be responsible for leading the training of a new ICE Focused Field Team. Boston Scientific has a best-in-class sales force in the cardiology space, and this role will play an integral part in ensuring our field force continues to learn and develop at a pace that matches the growth of the division. Responsibilities - Building a new and innovative ICE Training Curriculum for the field. - Ability to confidently lead and deliver training to large groups of clinical and sales field personnel. - Frequent communication on projects and initiatives and ability to present to key stakeholders. - Building a strong partnership with the training teams in WATCHMAN and Electrophysiology (EP). - Daily collaboration with several other groups, including Marketing, R&D, Sales Operations, etc. - Fully remote based, but frequent travel to Arden Hills, regional training programs, COTs, and off-site meetings required. - Approximately 50% overnight travel required. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree - Minimum of 2 years' experience with Intracardiac Echo (ICE), particularly in the LAAC and/or Electrophysiology markets. - High-energy and the ability to work in an ultra-fast-paced environment. - Self-starter with the ability to manage projects from the concept stage to fully executed programs. - Ability to execute on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to prioritize projects based on business need. - Experience with Executive Leadership communication and presentations. - Work collaboratively within the team and with other business functions. - Continuous improvement mindset; ability to identify existing gaps and needs for sales training improvement. - Ability to tailor training materials to specific audiences. - Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization and with outside vendors and consultants. - Basic competency on Microsoft Office 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Preferred Qualifications - Experience leading and delivering training content and presentations to large groups. - Content development experience in a training environment. - Education experience within healthcare or the medical device industry. Compensation Minimum Salary: $97,000 Maximum Salary: $184,300 The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
