Outside Sales Representative

CHS Inc.

• Partner with customers to drive retail sales performance and execute against sales goals. • Identify and deliver consultative solutions that add value to customers’ operations and business needs. • Apply core sales principles while building knowledge of products, customers, industries, and internal systems to strengthen sales, marketing, and advisory capabilities. • Take initiative on opportunities; escalate or collaborate with more experienced team members when appropriate and learn through observation and participation. • Build and maintain a customer pipeline that includes both existing relationships and new prospects. • Engage with current and prospective customers to represent the assigned co-op, strengthen relationships, and promote CHS products and services. • Prepare basic proposals and contribute to the development of more complex bids. • Develop and deliver straightforward customer presentations, and support more advanced presentations as needed. • Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, competitor activity, and sales programs. • Proactively support customers by anticipating needs, responding quickly, and delivering a high level of service. • Develop a working knowledge of CHS product offerings and solutions. • Champion a culture of safety by adhering to all policies and procedures; identify, communicate, and help resolve unsafe conditions or behaviors. • Training Provided: Product training CHS Sales Training (National Sales Certification available) CRM and systems training

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of Sales, Business Development, and/or Sales Business Operations
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Role Description Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Account Executive to join our Records Information Management (RIM) Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving net new sales and revenue growth from prospective and existing customer accounts within your assigned industry vertical by executing strategic account plans and complex solution selling. You will join a high-performing, collaborative team focused on expanding Iron Mountain's footprint, leveraging cross-functional internal resources, and delivering high-value information management solutions to enterprise clients. What You’ll Do - Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to expand Iron Mountain's footprint, continuously prospecting to secure net new clients and grow existing accounts. - Solution Selling & Value Creation: Assess unique customer needs to position alternative, value-driven solutions, clearly articulating Iron Mountain's competitive advantages, strengths, and pricing models. - Executive Relationship Cultivation: Build and influence strong relationships with customer stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers, aligning unique organizational insights with key customer priorities. - Pipeline & Process Execution: Maintain a consistent, predictable sales pipeline by tracking all activities within Salesforce, managing timely and detailed responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and conducting ongoing competitive market research. - Contract & Revenue Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end negotiation process for solution proposals, pricing structures, profitability, liability, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to successfully meet and exceed sales quotas.
