Role Description TeleMed2U is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Hepatologists to join our growing virtual specialty care team in a half time capacity. This role allows you to deliver high-quality hepatology services through a fully remote telehealth platform while maintaining an excellent work–life balance. The position includes a 20-hour clinical workweek with potential opportunities to provide APP supervision, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team to manage both chronic and complex hepatologic conditions using evidence-based medicine. What You Will Do: - Evaluate and manage a wide range of liver conditions, including: - Fatty liver disease - Hepatitis B & C - Cirrhosis and chronic liver disease - Elevated LFTs / abnormal liver imaging - Autoimmune liver disease - Provide longitudinal care via telehealth platform - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams - Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies - Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), as applicable - Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR - EPIC - Collaborate with other specialists and care team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care - Maintain compliance with TeleMed2U clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications - MD or DO from an accredited medical school - Board Certified in Gastroenterology with Hepatology focus - Active, unrestricted medical license in NM a PLUS - Experience or interest in APP supervision - Comfortable providing care in a telehealth environment - Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care - EMR Experience - EPIC Requirements - Job Type: 1099 or W2 - Part-time role with 20 clinical hours per week - 100% remote telehealth practice - 1099 Competitive per encounter compensation, with competitive hourly rates - W2 Opportunity with competitive salary and bonus with 37 clinical hours in a 40 hour work week - Medical Malpractice coverage - Schedule: Monday – Friday during normal business hours in MT Time Zone Benefits - Health Benefits (Health/Vision/Dental) - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays - 401K
