• Own end-to-end frontend development for core crypto money movement experiences, including send, receive, and transaction status tracking across web and mobile • Drive measurable improvements in CUJ latency, availability, and SLOs for the payment flows you own • Build new user-facing features - such as contact management systems and real-time transaction status trackers • Partner with product, design, and backend engineering to scope, prioritize, and ship projects that reduce CX contact rates and improve the customer experience • Identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks across payment flows, reducing end-to-end latency and improving reliability for millions of users

• Own end-to-end frontend development across web and mobile for Coinbase's card products using React and React Native. • Build new features that expand the credit card's value proposition and drive user acquisition, activation, and engagement. • Partner with product management, design, and backend engineers to translate complex financial and crypto mechanics into clear, polished user experiences. • Drive frontend performance, reliability, and accessibility improvements across the card surfaces. • Contribute to experimentation and funnel optimization efforts that measurably improve conversion and retention.

Role Description We are looking for a Web Growth Engineer to help us unfreeze our primary commercial engine and transform our digital presence into a high-velocity conversion pipeline. The Web Growth Engineer will play a critical role in our success. Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing , you will own the full-time technical management, administration, and continuous layout engineering of our core WordPress architecture and be crucial in driving data-backed conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user-experience (UX) performance. - Own the entire public-facing web architecture, including code base stability, technical performance optimization, responsive layouts, and data tracking layers. - Help build and scale modern, conversion-focused page structures that operationalize our Corporate Messaging Framework across 100% of our public assets. - Regularly collaborate with Product Marketing, Content, B2C, and Marketing Operations to rapidly publish mid-funnel validation assets (webinars, case studies, proof campaigns) that break buyer indecision. - Directly optimize website conversion paths to capture an absolute baseline conversion lift.
