Role Description MassLive, the largest news and information website in Massachusetts, is looking for an experienced high school sports reporter to help their team expand into the Boston Area. The reporter will be responsible for all aspects of coverage, including: - Working alongside the High School Sports Editor to build Boston coverage. - Playing a role in content strategy. - Reporting on some of the biggest schools in the state. - Writing and reporting from games. - Gathering data for the high school sports stats platform. - Creating creative storylines. - Producing multi-dimensional content as a digital media outlet. - Covering rankings for teams and players, breaking news, and feature stories. Qualifications - A degree in journalism or communication, or equivalent education and work experience. - Minimum of two years of journalism experience with proven ability in reporting and writing. - Solid understanding of news writing, reporting, journalistic ethics, and story structure. - Mastery of social media and digital interaction. - Bilingual and multilingual language skills are a plus. Requirements - Ability to work independently and remotely under deadline pressure. - Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately. - Must be able to work nights and some weekends. - Ability to learn and master methods and applications used to deliver content across various platforms. - Ability to leverage relationships with sources to deliver differentiated content. - Ability to shoot, edit, and publish short-form video content optimized for Instagram and mobile audiences. - Comfortable appearing on camera for live hits, interviews, and social media-first reporting; broadcast experience a plus. - This job requires reliable transportation to meet with sources or cover events. Role Description Become a part of something special. Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is seeking a full-time Radiologist to read evening emergency department and inpatient work. Position opening is for expansion due to increased volume, and eligible for remote work. - This evening position rotates 1 week on (7 days, 9-hour shift, 6p-3am) and 2 weeks off (inclusive of recovery, vacation, CME, academic). This equates to 121 clinical shifts per year. - 17 weeks of remote clinical evenings per year! Remote from anywhere in the USA except New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska. - This evening radiologist will focus their clinical care exclusively at one of the Southeast’s busiest Level 1 trauma centers (Grady Memorial Hospital), providing interpretations in conjunction with trainees. - The primary clinical scope will involve chest and abdominal imaging. Although the scope can be 100% abdominal and chest imaging, candidates will be able to read other emergency imaging exams if preferred. - A separate evening neuroradiologist would be responsible for neuroradiology work. - Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, highly function in the fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting, and work well in a collaborative environment. - Candidates should be prepared to participate in both the clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision. - There are opportunities for additional extra duty clinical work for additional salary if desired. Qualifications - Applicants must be ABR Board-certified/eligible and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license. - Candidates with subspecialty training or emergency imaging experience are desired. - Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
