• Provide executive-level administrative and operational support to multiple HR Vice Presidents and Executives • Be responsible for managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings and travel, preparing communications and presentations, handling confidential information with discretion, and ensuring smooth day-to-day support across the HR leadership team • Manage an extremely active and dynamic calendar of appointments • Think creatively and resourcefully about alternatives, protect time, and manage calendars, including scheduling internal and external meetings across multiple time zones • Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries, agendas and accommodations, and expense reporting • Compile documents for travel-related meetings • Prepare, format, and distribute presentations, reports, agendas, meeting materials, and correspondence • Support leadership meetings by organizing logistics, preparing materials, capturing action items, and following up on deliverables • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the HR Vice Presidents • Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion • Assist with planning and coordination of HR events, team meetings, off-sites, and leadership sessions • Partner closely with Executive Assistants across the organization to find efficient solutions for scheduling challenges • Support in creating/editing various documents, including letters/memos, PowerPoint presentations, Excel files (including manipulation of data/creation of charts), etc. • Prioritize conflicting needs, handle work expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures • Proactively manage business rhythm planning, ensuring that all core business meetings are scheduled with logistics and other pre-meeting requirements identified and addressed accordingly • Monitor and prioritize incoming communications, escalating urgent matters as appropriate • Support budget tracking, purchase orders, invoices, and other administrative processes as needed • Maintain organized digital files, records, and documentation • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and enhance team efficiency.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience in an Executive Assistant, Senior Administrative, or similar support role
- Experience supporting multiple senior leaders for a publicly traded, global company, preferably in Human Resources or a corporate environment
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules and priorities with minimal supervision
- Expert Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; and experience with travel systems and expense reimbursement procedures
- Experience with expense management, travel coordination, and meeting logistics
- Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing business needs
- Impeccable communicator and representative for Stanley Black & Decker, both in verbal and written communication
- Professional and positive demeanor and executive presence
- Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong and independent decision-making capability
- Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Excellent analytical, time-management, and project management skills
