Director of Technical Solutions, NA – West Coast preferred

• Lead and manage a team of Field Application Engineers supporting strategic OEM, Tier 1, and EMS customers. • Drive technical engagement strategies across the sales cycle—from pre-sales consultation and DFM support to post-sales optimization. • Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. • Establish and maintain best practices for technical sales support, including proposal development, customer meetings, and design reviews. • Oversee technical training and onboarding for FAE staff, ensuring consistent global capabilities and messaging. • Translate customer requirements and feedback into actionable insights for product development, quality, and process improvement initiatives. • Lead technical presentations and consultations with key accounts, industry forums, and internal leadership. • Partner with marketing to develop technical sales tools, application notes, and customer-facing content.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline required.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in engineering roles within the PCB or electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing technical, customer-facing engineering teams.
  • Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and global design teams preferred.
