Job Description
Senior Product Designer
Advisor360°
Role Description You're not just designing screens — you're defining how humans and AI systems work together in one of the most high-stakes industries in the world. This role sits at the intersection of product design, AI behavior design, and design system engineering, and it's built for someone who wants to set the standard for what agentic UX looks like in financial services. You'll be embedded with a product team building the conversational intelligence layer for Advisor360°'s platform — the AI assistant that advisors and their clients use to get things done. You're not downstream of decisions; you're in the room where the experience is defined, shaping what the product does before engineering picks it up. Here’s What You’ll Do: - Own the experience definition for your product team — determine how advisors and clients interact with the platform, from AI message rendering to multi-modal response containers, before a single pixel is handed off. - Define how the AI assistant participates as a UX actor — design the visual and behavioral patterns that distinguish AI messages from human ones, surface tool execution in-thread, and handle streaming responses gracefully. - Design for three participants — advisor, client, and AI — each with distinct information needs, permission levels, and interaction patterns, including intent previews, confidence indicators, and progressive disclosure in chat. - Build and maintain a design system built for agent consumption — semantic naming conventions, design token architecture, Auto Layout for responsive intent, and CLAUDE.md-encoded instructions that make the system executable by AI agents. - Create predictability within uncertainty — establish structural consistency in tone, format, and response shape so users can build a mental model they trust even when AI output varies. - Prototype fast and evaluate running builds — use Claude Code, Figma MCP, or equivalent AI tools to go from concept to testable artifact without waiting for engineering, then validate on functional prototypes rather than static mockups. - Champion accessibility from the ground up — encode WCAG AA compliance into the token architecture by default, and own the UX-side of AI content distinguishability for regulatory purposes. - Stay one sprint upstream — the next feature's UX is defined and approved before the current one ships, keeping the PM and Tech Lead unblocked and aligned. Qualifications - 5+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates systems thinking alongside strong visual and interaction craft. - Demonstrated experience designing for AI or ML-driven products — you understand non-deterministic systems and have designed correction and redirection affordances before. - Deep hands-on fluency with Figma, including component architecture, design variables/tokens, and Auto Layout. - Experience building or contributing to a shared design system, including governance, documentation, and cross-team adoption. - Ability to prototype in code or with AI-assisted tools — you don't wait for engineering to test a concept. - Strong product instincts — you can evaluate a plan's UX implications in a technical review, not just in a design critique. Requirements - Experience designing conversational UI or chat-based interfaces, particularly in enterprise or regulated industries. - Familiarity with WCAG AA standards and designing for accessibility at the system level. - Exposure to financial services, wealthtech, or other compliance-sensitive product environments. - Experience authoring structured AI-readable documentation (CLAUDE.md, prompt-based design governance, or equivalent). Benefits - Competitive base salaries and annual performance-based bonuses. - Equity value sharing with colleagues. - Comprehensive health benefits, including dental, life, and disability insurance. - Unlimited paid time off program. Company Description Advisor360° is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce. We believe diversity drives innovation and are therefore building a company where people of all backgrounds are truly welcome and included. Everyone is encouraged to bring their unique, authentic selves to work each and every day. Advisor360° is currently authorized to employ individuals remotely in the following states: CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, ME, MI, NH, NJ, NY, NC, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, VA. Applicants must reside in one of these states at the time of hire and throughout their employment unless otherwise approved by the People Team. Candidates located within 50 miles of our Needham, MA headquarters may be required to follow applicable hybrid work guidelines. The estimated base salary range for this position is $180,000 – $200,000 + bonus & equity.

Senior Product Designer
onXonX is a distributed company with more than 400 employees across the country. We come together regularly to work in person and stay connected through regional basecamps and a culture that balances individual ownership with deep collaboration. While we move quickly, we’re not a scrappy start-up. We operate with clear goals, structure, and frameworks that guide how we prioritize and execute. Clear priorities and structure don’t limit ownership - they make it possible. You’ll have the autonomy to define your work and make meaningful decisions within clear strategic boundaries.
Role Description onX is seeking a Senior Product Designer who will shape the future of onX Fish — a data-rich consumer product that helps anglers choose the right water, find the best spots, and fish with confidence. In this role, you’ll be the sole design lead for onX Fish, embedded directly within a high-velocity product team that ships in fast, overlapping cycles. You’ll work across iOS, Android, and responsive web to turn complex geospatial and environmental data into interfaces that are intuitive, beautiful, and genuinely useful on the water. This is not a role where design happens upstream of execution; it happens inside it. You’ll jump into work already in motion, shape product decisions and refine design in real time alongside product, engineering, and data partners, and ship polished UX at the pace the team moves. You’ll take ownership of your work, collaborate closely with partners across the organization, and help move initiatives forward in an environment where priorities evolve, learning is celebrated, and you’re encouraged to keep stretching your skills. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Product Design & Research. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, HCI, Visual Design, or equivalent experience. - Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience, including at least five (5) years of product design experience shipping consumer-facing digital products, particularly for data-rich or geospatial experiences. - Cross-platform design experience spanning iOS, Android, and responsive web. - Proven ability to work at high velocity within cross-functional teams, contributing design judgment inside fast-moving delivery cycles rather than through sequential phases. - Native fluency with AI tools in your design workflow; using them daily to prototype, ideate, and explore, and treating AI-generated concepts from partners as starting points to build on. - Strong instinct for map-based and geospatial interfaces, with experience designing spatial data visualizations and layered information overlays. - Communication style that converges toward decisions: you present recommendations, not process walkthroughs, and earn influence through the quality of shipped work. - High agency and self-direction — you pull context from available resources, form your own point of view, and create clarity in ambiguity. - A strong curiosity for exploring new technologies, including AI. - A shared passion for and ability to demonstrate onX’s Company Values. - Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX. - Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days to a corporate office or other onX strategic location, such as a Basecamp. - A portfolio is required as part of the application. Requirements - Own the end-to-end design for onX Fish across iOS, Android, and responsive web — from concept through shipped, polished UI. - Design data-dense, map-first interfaces that make complex geospatial, environmental, and species data useful and accessible to anglers. - Work within fast, non-linear product cycles — picking up prototypes, PRDs, and engineering spikes already in motion and elevating them with strong design judgment. - Collaborate daily with product, engineering, and data partners as a co-builder, contributing to UX decisions in real time rather than through sequential handoffs. - Independently synthesize strategy documents, user research, and data to identify the highest-impact design work and bring a point of view without waiting for explicit assignments. - Create design iterations that drive both divergent ideation and convergent decision-making; ultimately landing on a strong design POV and recommendation with a clear rationale, calibrated to the customer problem to solve and the scope of the iteration at hand. - Set a high bar for Design in onX Fish, ensuring beautiful UI, UX consistency, and usability across the product surface. - Design AI-powered features, including conversational interfaces, recommendation systems, and AI-assisted workflows that are core to the Fish product roadmap. - Look for opportunities to embed AI as a repeatable co-pilot in daily workflows by integrating experimentation into real work, and continuously refining its use with sound judgment and validation. Benefits - Competitive salaries, annual bonuses, equity, and opportunities for growth. - Comprehensive health benefits, including a no-monthly-cost medical plan. - Paid parental leave of 13 weeks for birthing parents and 5 weeks for non-birthing parents. - 401k matching at 100% for the first 3% you save and 50% from 3-5%. - Company-wide outdoor adventures and amazing outdoor industry perks. - Annual “Get Out, Get Active” funds to fuel your active lifestyle. - Flexible time away package that includes PTO, STO, VTO, and paid holidays.
