Renewables Development Engineer

Role Description Ulteig is seeking talented and motivated candidates for an Engineer - Development role supporting utility-scale solar, wind, and battery projects. The selected candidate will engage with Ulteig’s civil, structural, electrical, and high voltage design teams and our clients to provide innovative, forward thinking design solutions to facilitate the development stage design of renewable facility projects. - Applies current, standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to complete engineering tasks, and supports other civil, structural, and electrical design workflows as necessary on a case-by-case basis. - Develops plans, details, and reports that are complete, accurate and in accordance with sound utility-scale renewables early-stage development engineering practices. - Works closely with and provides guidance to engineering technicians and design engineers. - Engages with clients to understand their priorities, relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish project goals while exceeding client expectations. - Checks design and computations performed by internal design team and provides ideas and executes to promote higher quality designs. - Reviews development plans and specifications for constructability, safety, and risk considerations. - Maintains a value engineering mindset throughout design. - Works closely with business and engineering staff across multiple markets and technical disciplines. - Works closely with clients to understand nuanced technical needs and identify best feasible solution(s). - Supports marketing, sales and business development activities within assigned market. - Demonstrates a wide degree of out-of-the-box thinking, creativity, and design ownership. Qualifications - B.S. in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is required. - Successful Completion of Professional Engineer (PE) registration, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, is required; NCEES Council Record is preferred. - Minimum of 4-6+ years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 3+ years of experience in design of utility scale renewables, required. - Experience in utility scale renewables development is a plus. - Experience in engineer of record or construction of utility scale renewables is a plus. - Stormwater management and permitting experience is a plus. - Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D is required. - Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of PVFarm, SAM, GIS/ESRI, PVProspect, or similar industry software is a plus. - Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). - Must have permanent authorization to work in US. Role Description As a Senior Network Engineer within the DT Technik team, you will spearhead the introduction, integration, and lifecycle management of next-generation router platforms in Telekom's multi-tier mobile aggregation network. Qualifications - Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field with at least 5 years of hands-on professional experience in service provider networks. - Deep expertise in router configurations, Segment Routing (SR/SRv6), MPLS, ISIS, BGP, VPNs, QoS, and BFD. - Proficient with network management protocols such as SNMP, gRPC, Netconf/YANG, and streaming telemetry tools. - Strong programming skills in Python with proven experience in automation and test development, including CI/CD tools like Jenkins. - Experience with integrating routers into existing network management and monitoring systems. - Solid background in network troubleshooting and performance optimization in large scale mobile networks. - Upper-intermediate or higher proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus. - Professional networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalents are preferred. - Excellent analytical skills, quick learning capability, teamwork orientation in an international team, and clear communication abilities. - Proactive, open-minded attitude eager to contribute innovative ideas and improvements.
