• Deploy, manage and optimize AWS infrastructure for development, QA and production application environments • Manage AWS Cloud deployments for the Elastic B2B Sales and eCommerce Platform • Work on design and implementation of service orchestration solutions • Maintain and improve automated deployments through the use of CI/CD tools • Manage and utilize tools to monitor application uptime and performance • Collaborate with developers to resolve application and performance issues • Manage access to applications for various teams and their members • Manage logging, monitoring and alerting tools • Collaborate with company Security and Compliance leadership to establish and maintain SOC II, ISO, PCI, and GDPR security standards and compliance • Collaborate with the DevOps and other teams to improve application performance and processes • On-call rotation for weekend issues
Job Requirements
- 5+ years in AWS System Administration
- Demonstrated success in fast paced SaaS Product Infrastructure environments
- Ability to work across client services, customer success, development and DevOps teams, in the US and globally
- Ability to work independently and organize tasks and priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including diagramming and technical documentation
- Passionate in identifying and learning about new technologies to improve customer experience and application efficiency, and to reduce operating costs
- high proficiency with configuration, management and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms and tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Semaphore
- Experience with Ubuntu administration and use
- Experience with Bash Scripting and Python
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with AWS administration and services, including VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, EFS, CloudFront, Cognito, IAM, AppSync, API Gateway, Lambda, Route53, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, SQS
- Experience with Jira and Confluence, or similar tools

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, security, resiliency, and scalability across enterprise DevOps platforms supporting mission-critical applications for federal government customers. Position Summary: The DevOps Lead will oversee a multidisciplinary team tasked with enabling continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), optimizing cloud and on-premise platforms, securing development pipelines, and ensuring highly reliable and performant systems.
