Role Description In this role, you will: - Build core capabilities for our SaaS Platform across multiple clouds - Drive development of functional enhancements for Data Discovery, Observability & Governance for both OSS and SaaS offering - Lead efforts around non-functional aspects like performance, scalability, reliability - Lead and mentor junior engineers - Work closely with PM, Customers and OSS community Qualifications - Over 8+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems, preferably in cloud-first or SaaS environments. - Solve complex technical and system design problems. - Strong software engineering fundamentals, with deep experience in designing distributed systems, APIs. - You are proficient in Java, and you write clean, well-documented code that stands the test of time. - Proficient in deploying and operating services on cloud platforms. - Experienced with CI/CD pipelines, version control workflows, and production-grade system monitoring. - You have a bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and a track record of leading complex projects from design to production. - Build and drive observability, improvements and cost optimization. - Bonus: Exposure to the modern data stack or experience in metadata, governance, or AI-enhanced platforms. • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends related to payment systems and cloud computing • Design and implement microservices-based architecture using domain-driven design principles • Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and management, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high availability of the payment system • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to ensure system performance and availability • Develop highly resilient and highly available components for the payment system • Conduct technology evaluations and provide recommendations for new tools, technologies, and frameworks that can enhance our payment infrastructure • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

• Work as an individual contributor within the Cloud development platform team, focused on developing and maintaining an in-house built CI/CD automation pipeline • Highly advanced knowledge of Release automation using CI/CD products that is applied to advance the goals and objectives of the team and department • Recognized by the team as an expert in CI/CD automation • Deploy critical infrastructure components through Infrastructure-as-Code tooling across multiple environments using Terraform integrated through Azure DevOps • Manages activities within a department, developing tactical plans for strategy and implementation for release automation for varying maturity levels of software products • Support the development of compelling features using modern tools and technologies with a focus on building future-proof systems that perform at scale • Architecting and developing stateless and stateful applications using AWS cloud technologies • Provide software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns, and programming • Establishes Cloud Infrastructure Design best practices, templates, and processes • Collaborates with external and internal partners, participates, and suggests design and architectural decisions

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of robust frontend systems for deploying LLM-based algorithms and services. • Manage projects through their complete lifecycle—from architecture to deployment, monitoring, and improvement. • Work with other engineering teams to understand use cases and deliver scalable platform solutions. • Develop high-quality, maintainable code using a modern tech stack. • Grow as an engineer working alongside world-class peers on impactful, cutting-edge generative AI projects.
