Role Description Mural Health is a fast-growing clinical technology start-up that makes clinical trials easier for participants. Our mission is to eliminate any barriers participants or caregivers experience while being part of a clinical trial. As we scale our client base, ensuring contract revisions and expansions are handled with precision and care is critical to how we retain and grow our clients. We're looking for a Contracts Associate to own this piece of the client journey, owning contract changes and seeing them through to execution. This is a detail-oriented, client-facing role for someone who is excited about playing a critical role in driving customer retention and revenue growth. You'll manage the back-and-forth, keep things moving, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Location: Remote Reports to: Director of Customer Success What You'll Do - Own contract revisions and expansions for existing clients. - Manage the revision and expansion process for your assigned accounts — from initial outreach through signed execution — in close partnership with Customer Success, Finance, Patient Kindness and the commercial team. - Proactively identify and track upcoming contract revision opportunities and expansion discussions, keeping a rolling pipeline and staying well ahead of deadlines. - Lead the back-and-forth of contract communications: sending documents, fielding questions, incorporating feedback, and keeping all parties informed and moving forward. - Manage amendments, scope changes, and expansion agreements with precision — maintaining organized records and ensuring accurate execution. - Be a steady, reliable partner to clients and internal teams. - Serve as the point of contact for contract-specific questions and communications, bringing responsiveness and care to every interaction. - Build trust with client contacts through clear communication and consistent follow-through — clients should always know where their contract stands. - Partner closely with CS, PK, Sales, Partnerships and Finance to align on contract terms, flag issues, and keep execution on track. - Escalate blockers quickly and know when to pull in the right people. - Maintain clean, up-to-date contract records and pipeline data. - Identify patterns and risks across your portfolio — proactively surface anything that needs attention before it becomes a problem. - Spot opportunities to improve how we manage the contract process and help implement those improvements. Qualifications - 2–4 years of experience in renewals, contract operations, customer success, or account management — ideally at a B2B SaaS or healthcare technology company. - Experience owning a contract revision, renewals, or expansion process, with a track record of strong execution and attention to detail. - A genuine enjoyment of client interaction — you're comfortable and confident in client-facing conversations, even when navigating back-and-forth on contract terms. - Strong project management skills: organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple contracts and deadlines without letting things slip. - Clear, professional communicator who can represent Mural Health well in writing and in conversation. - Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment where the playbook is still being built. - Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce a plus).
