• Drive daily operations of the Vertical Telecom group, setting performance goals that align with team and firmwide objectives • Contribute to the vision and strategy of growing the team. Supervise a dynamic and expanding group across multiple offices and states, fostering collaboration and technical growth. • Oversee project delivery from kickoff to closeout—ensuring schedules, budgets, and technical execution meet our high standards. • Build and nurture client relationships through proactive communication, strategic insight, and exceptional service. • Support the strategic growth of the telecom practice through business development, client strategy, and proposal leadership. • Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development to team members, helping them thrive in their careers. • Monitor team performance, utilization, and staffing needs to keep projects moving and people supported.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, construction, planning, landscape architecture, or a related field preferred. An associate degree with equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in telecom, low-voltage systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience supervising technical personnel, with a proven track record of mentorship and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of telecom design practices, building codes, and project delivery methods.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or RCDD certification preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software and telecom design tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and contribute to business development.
