We aim to deliver a world-class payment orchestration platform implemented in GCP and having guaranteed SLAs higher than 99.95%. Endless horizontal scalability, resilience, and secure operations are the name of the game. At the application level, we use Go and Java on Kubernetes, and we have a strong preference for managed native services. How You Will Make an Impact: - Develop and promote the adoption of Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and golden paths built on GCP managed services. - Design, build, and maintain self-service toolchains and CI/CD pipelines that accelerate application delivery for application engineers. - Collaborate with security architects to embed security and governance-by-default practices into the platform's toolchains and infrastructure (IaC). - Partner with application engineers and architects to ensure the platform delivers endless horizontal scalability and resilience for the payment orchestration system. - Maintain the platform's relevance by continuously evaluating and implementing the latest cloud native technologies and best practices. - Champion a 'Platform as a Product' mindset, promoting a cloud-first and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) approach to platform development. - Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the Internal Developer Platform and developer experience, reducing friction for application teams. - Focus on platform adoption, measuring ROI, and ensuring the platform's stability, security, and efficiency. - Continuously iterate on the platform to maintain and enhance developer experience and compliance across all environments. - Foster a high-performance DevOps culture through knowledge sharing, documentation, and mentoring across technical functions. Qualifications - Knowledge of DevOps practices, with a strong focus on developer experience (DevEx). - Strong operational experience with Kubernetes. - 5+ years of experience in Cloud/Platform Engineering roles in a large-scale, high-traffic, cloud-based PaaS/SaaS environment. - Extensive experience designing and building platforms in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Proven expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Terraform or Config Connector, for managing platform and governance components. - Hands-on experience designing and implementing platform observability (log management, diagnostics, metrics, capacity management). - Strong scripting/automation abilities (Bash, and experience with a structured language like Go or Python for tooling). - Strong expertise in GCP and knowledge about utilization of managed services within GCP. - Hands-on experience designing and securing environments for sensitive data (i.e. within PCI-DSS). - Demonstrated experience working with GitOps tools like GitHub, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD. - Knowledge of Helm charting and CI pipelines for multi-language applications (Go, Java, PHP) is a plus. Requirements - B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field or applicable experience. - Experience in CI/CD systems and methodologies. - Experience working with a 24/7/365 high-traffic cloud environment. - Excellent English communication skills (speaking, writing, and reading). Benefits - Opportunity to be an innovator, challenge the status quo, and redefine the payments category. - Competitive salary in a fast-growing start-up. - Medical insurance with coverage for dependents (parents, spouse, children). - Rewards & Recognition system. - Opportunity for personal and professional growth in a dynamic industry.

Title: Staff AI Software Engineer - Platform Location: New York City Job Description: THE POSITION Our roster has an opening with your name on it As the senior-most technical Knowledge & Context Engineer, you will design and operationalized a centralized multimodal memory architecture spanning vector retrieval, knowledge graphs, ontologies, metadata systems, runtime memory injection, and lineage and governance frameworks. This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, distributed systems, and applied intelligence. You will lead the strategy and execution for how enterprise knowledge is structured, represented, governed, retrieved, and operationalized across agents, copilots, automation systems, and customer-facing AI products. Importantly, you will sit at the cutting edge of building the cognitive substrate for an AI-native enterprise. Come join us as a hands-on thought leader who innovates by doing. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs. THE GAME PLAN Everyone on our team has a part to play Build foundational content intelligence systems: Design systems for ingestion, indexing, embeddings, metadata, retrieval, lineage, governance, and auditability that can support both internal and customer-facing AI use cases. This includes customers, media and marketing assets, product features, production code, websites, game sounds, customer service experiences, operational workflows, and other enterprise content. Establish enterprise knowledge graphs and ontologies: Define and implement a regulatory-compliant knowledge graph strategy that creates deep context about FanDuel’s products, employees, operations, customers, and systems. Own the design of graph databases, semantic models, ontologies, entity resolution patterns, and relationships across vector and non-vector data. Build the connective tissue that allows AI systems and agents to reason over enterprise context with precision, transparency, and control. Design secure memory patterns for agents: Create reusable design patterns for how AI agents acquire, store, retrieve, update, and discard context during runtime. This includes short-term memory, long-term memory, episodic memory, summarization, context injection, retrieval augmentation, and governed memory sharing across tools and systems. Ensure memory systems are efficient, secure, auditable, and appropriate for regulated environments. Champion responsible AI development: Ensure knowledge, retrieval, graph, and memory systems meet regulatory requirements, ethical standards, privacy obligations, and responsible gaming principles. Build safeguards, access controls, provenance, explainability, monitoring, and auditability into the platform from day one. In six months, you’ll know you’re heading on the right path if you’ve built: - Reusable runtime memory patterns that are being used by multiple agents to securely acquire, retrieve, summarize, and apply context during execution. - A production-grade graph and ontology framework connecting products, customers, employees, operations, systems, and content with clear lineage, access controls, and regulatory compliance. - Teams can build AI solutions faster because retrieval, memory, metadata, governance, and knowledge graph capabilities are available as shared primitives rather than bespoke pipelines.
