Senior Software Engineer, Mobile

Dutchie

• Development of Dutchie’s mobile applications using Flutter to deliver best-in-class shopping experiences across iOS and Android for cannabis consumers • Partner directly with Product and Design teams to design, develop, and ship new customer-facing features on our mobile roadmap, from discovery through deployment and iteration • Optimize application performance, accessibility, and cross-platform consistency to ensure fast and seamless experiences for diverse user bases • Stay current with modern mobile technologies and best practices to help push Dutchie’s mobile platform forward, continuously improving code quality, developer experience, and customer outcomes

Job Requirements

  • 5+ Years of software development experience, including mobile development
  • Experience building cross-platform mobile applications, preferably using Flutter and Dart
  • Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, performance optimization, and general software best practices
  • You take pride in the code you write, it's clean, tested, organized, and elegant
  • Self-starter, you're proactive and are able to drive projects from start to finish by working with relevant stakeholders
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • You want to work in a fast-paced environment, we move quickly and ship code often
  • You enjoy your time working, but you enjoy your time outside of work too
