Job Description

National Account Manager

Milo's Tea Company, Inc.

• Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with existing and prospective customers, serving as a trusted partner and advocate for the Milo’s brand. • Analyze sales performance, including volume, product mix, and pricing, while staying current on supply and demand dynamics, market trends, economic indicators, and competitive activity. • Leverage syndicated and internal data to identify opportunities to increase sales, expand distribution and shelf space, and improve brand positioning and customer penetration. • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, clearly communicating strategies and initiatives to Retail Sales for effective field execution. • Partner with cross‑functional teams, including Senior Directors of HQ Sales and Sales Leadership, to develop and manage channel and partner strategies. • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify risks, challenges, and growth opportunities. • Forecast, budget, and track account volume and performance against key metrics. • Prepare and deliver regular reports, forecasts, and customer presentations for internal and external stakeholders. • Maintain a thorough understanding of customer needs, requirements, and business priorities. • Communicate competitor activities, retailer trends, promotions, and opportunities to internal teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence. • Manage relationships with assigned brokers and third-party sales agents, providing direction on account priorities, promotional execution, and performance expectations. • Travel as needed throughout the assigned territory to support customer relationships and business objectives. • Prepare and submit monthly expense reports in a timely and accurate manner. • Attend food shows, trade events, and customer meetings to build, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships. • Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and high personal performance standards to drive results. • Uphold and actively participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming, including environmental, social, and MMAD initiatives. • Serve as a role model for Milo’s Responsibility commitment, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Sales, or a related field
  • 5 or more years of experience in sales or account management, including 3 or more years managing national or major accounts; or 3 or more years of experience with an advanced degree
  • Demonstrated experience developing account plans, managing trade spend, and executing against volume objectives required
  • Proficiency with syndicated data tools
  • CPG or food and beverage industry experience strongly preferred
