• Familiarization with specific instrumentation prior to installation from issued documentation and/or participation in the final testing process in the factory. • Liaise with customers and colleagues in the site planning process prior to installation. • Inspect, install, set up, test and achieve specifications of systems and accessories at customers’ sites, and deliver basic operator training. • Carry out breakdown and planned maintenance at customers’ sites. • Provide technical, software and application related support and assistance to customers and to colleagues, either directly or by remote diagnosis. • Carry out procedures necessary to validate systems to certifiable standards. • Provide technical input to the sales team in non-routine sales cases. • Frequent travel in Spain is an essential part of the job. Travel to customer sites abroad can occur, especially within Europe.
Job Requirements
- Qualification in electrical or electronic engineering, chemistry or biochemistry.
- Similar level of knowledge and /or skill gained by practical experience in the Mass Spectrometry field is a clear plus.
- Solid technical or scientific background gained in industry or academia is a plus.
- Proven experience in field service work.
- A current driving license.
- Willingness to travel extensively, up to 80%.
- No visa restriction preventing travel in the USA or EMEA.
- Good at building relationships through inspiring trust and confidence.
- Self-motivation and a willingness to work with others toward a shared goal.
- The ability to contribute to a team effort, yet to accept responsibility for an individual role within the team.
- Excel at continuous learning in a rapidly advancing technological area.
- Capacity to take responsibility for the complete installation and commissioning of sophisticated instrumentation and to instruct users in its basic operation.
- Ability to diagnose causes of malfunction and to actively resolve customers’ service problems.
- Good computer literacy, including familiarity with data system hardware and industry standard operating systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good spoken and written English.

Role Description AIT Home Delivery is a division of AIT Worldwide Logistics. We have multiple types of delivery and assembly work available in 46 states. Currently, in your area, the following work is available: - Assembly of large outdoor products at customers' homes. - Requires reliable transportation to and from the work-site. - For Basketball Installations only, a pickup truck, van, or smaller box truck is required. - Occasional pickup and delivery of product to home is needed for basketball hoops. Qualifications - Contractors must have sufficient vehicle for the work being performed. - Must have a reliable helper; two-man teams required. - Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications. - Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov. - Comply with insurance and vehicle registrations. - DOT/MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs. - Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work. - Background and drug screens are performed on all contractors including helpers. - MVR are performed for all driving contractors. - You must be committed to providing exceptional customer service. - Be tech-savvy with a mobile phone and possess excellent communication skills.
