• Providing home help services such as general housekeeping and making beds • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors • Washing, folding and ironing laundry • Meal preparation and grocery shopping • Providing personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed • Assisting clients to take their medications • Assisting with mobility and therapy goals • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia • Providing social and emotional support • Providing transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
Job Requirements
- Cert III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role that includes personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications.
