Senior Non-QM Underwriter
Premier Mortgage Associates
• Complete thorough manual analysis of mortgage loan files to determine compliance with company guidelines, matrices, and procedures. • Analyzing loan risk and requesting additional documentation as necessary. • Calculate the borrowers income and analyze their ability to repay the mortgage obligation. • Candidate must be familiar with not only traditional income doc types, but also non-traditional doc types offered in Non-QM (bank statements, P&L, asset depletion, DSCR Cash Flow). • Reviewing loan conditions as resubmitted. • Making loan eligibility decisions by approving or rejecting loans, documenting the loan file appropriately and communicating the decisions effectively to all necessary parties. • Maintain company productivity, service level and turn-time standards. • Communicate effectively with sales, business partners (Brokers/NDC Clients), and internal team members. • Respond to audits and post-closing issues in a timely manner. • Maintain working knowledge of Non-QM, TPO and/or NDC guidelines and policies. • Request exceptions and scenarios as needed. • Mentor operations staff on underwriting deficiencies and calculation errors. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

- Non-QM underwriting experience required
