Clinical Supervisor, LCSW
Athena
• Provide weekly clinical supervision to therapists as assigned, and document supervision sessions in a timely manner • Complete and maintain NYS licensure paperwork for supervisees as applicable • Assist with the development and facilitation of clinical training for staff in partnership with the leadership team • Work with the Clinical Director to cover administrative tasks as needed, including performance management of assigned therapists when necessary • Perform ongoing review of high-risk cases and provide clinical solutions as appropriate • Engage in the Utilization Review process for assigned cases every month • Respond to clinical crises and other clinical issues brought forward by supervisees • Help develop and improve clinical policies and procedures on an ongoing basis to support overall success of the program • Maintain a reduced caseload of therapy clients; complete all required clinical documentation promptly, including comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
Job Requirements
- NYS Independently Licensed Mental Health Provider (PhD, LCSW, LCSW-R, etc.)
- Leadership experience in a mental health clinic setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
- Previous experience using computerized appointment scheduling systems and/or electronic Medical Record Systems
- Knowledgeable in NYS OMH Outpatient Clinic regulations
- Knowledgeable in HIPAA Regulations

• Identify and qualify new donor prospects, generally with $25k–$1M annual giving capacity • Build and manage a robust pipeline of 100+ individual prospects and investors. • Develop relationships with an individual donor archetype of donors with private sector experience (i.e., entrepreneurs, C-Suite leaders, healthcare executives) • Develop partnerships with institutional foundations, especially those prioritizing federal advocacy, improving healthcare delivery, advancing health equity, protecting youth and students, and integrating artificial intelligence into care delivery. • Personally lead investor meetings, cultivate relationships, and secure gifts from individuals focused on improving mental health outcomes in the United States. • Strategize to customize pitches, framing, and messaging based on the needs of the National Council’s program teams and the interests of potential investors. • Design and deliver compelling pitches using the National Council’s core collateral and investor-facing messaging • Drive fundraising strategy for high-capacity donors and institutional funders, including tailored cultivation journeys, identification of emerging funding opportunities, and refinement of investor-facing messaging and positioning. • Represent the National Council at events and conferences — both within the mental health field and in settings where target donor prospects naturally gather. • Travel to meet donors in person — especially in geographies with significant numbers of UHNIs (e.g., New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Bay Area, Boston, Seattle, D.C, etc). Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time is required.
