Director, Master Data – Process Technology

• Serve as the chief advocate and primary subject matter expert on Tools & Outdoor master data that enables our sales, marketing and analytics teams • Define and set the strategic vision, direction, priorities, and roadmap for both the data and related process and quality programs based on company strategy and priorities • Work closely with business teams and other data process and management initiatives to build an integrated and cohesive data ecosystem for our company and articulate its value • Oversee a team of senior managers, each accountable for specific capabilities, ensuring timely delivery of objectives, ongoing team development, and effective cross-team collaboration and alignment • Present regular updates on program progress and future roadmap to program Steering Committees • Lead Agile development initiatives for constituent technologies (including Appian, Salsify, Snowflake, etc.), ensuring adherence to best practices and achievement of roadmap milestones • Advise on other large-scale data programs and participate in steering committees and councils within the organization • Hold final decision-making authority for managed programs, encompassing data model design, data ingestion processes, and technology selection • Develop and manage program budgets and headcount plans in collaboration with senior managers and the Sr. Director • Maintain strong working relationships with IT leaders responsible for the technologies leveraged by your programs • Lead the Product Data Council, facilitating discussion, ensuring business outcomes are being met and refining new business requirements • Ensure all program outputs are consistently high-quality, delivered on time, and accurately meet requirements • Proactively identify and escalate areas of concern, conflict, or risks to program scope, providing recommended corrective actions to the Sr. Director of Data, Process & Analytics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, data science, marketing, or a related field is required
- Master’s degree in data science, library science, or a similar discipline is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in data analytics, business analysis, IT, business systems development, product management, or a closely related field
- Must have previous experience managing & developing people managers
- Familiarity with the tools industry and various product types
- Demonstrated experience leading Agile software development teams
- Prior hands-on experience with Product Information Management (PIM), process master management, and data storage solutions
- Strong coaching abilities with a genuine desire to supervise, mentor, and lead teams
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a passion for engaging stakeholders and driving program participation
- Previous experience in front-line supervisory or team lead roles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid experience with the MS Office Suite
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, or JDA is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Snowflake and SQL preferred
- Excellent command of English, including speaking, reading, and writing
- Proven experience in negotiating and guiding requirement development with stakeholders
- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications, and to communicate these effectively to technical teams.

• Partner with cross-functional program team members and key R&D stakeholders to support the development of innovative study designs, clinical trial protocols and amendments, investigator brochures, and other documents required to conduct clinical trials. • Provide clinical support for clinical study conduct, including operational feasibility, data management, communication plans, safety and medical monitoring, preparation of meeting materials, and study updates. • Provide scientific support and cleaning/querying of key safety and efficacy data for ongoing clinical trials throughout conduct. • Prepare and communicate clear overviews of trial results. • Identify issues related to study conduct and/or subject safety. Provide preliminary assessments and recommendations and collaborate with the clinical team to develop solutions to ensure resolution. • Interact with internal and external stakeholders (study sites, vendors, KOLs, etc.) in support of program-level strategy as well as clinical trial objectives. • Act as a recognized clinical expert for assigned programs. • Contribute to the preparation of medical and scientific data for publications, presentations, and study milestones (including meetings for the Executive Team, Board of Directors, Advisory Boards, and the Data and Safety Monitoring Committees [DSMC]) • Together with the Therapeutic Area Head for Lung, serve as a point of contact for the clinical operations personnel, clinical trial sites, and CROs for clinical science questions. • Maintains knowledge of ICH-GCP and FDA IND, and external regulations and procedures. • Contribute to authoring clinical documents such as protocol synopsis, clinical study reports, IBs, ICFs, training documents, and others. • Author pertinent clinical sections of regulatory filings, including preparation of routine correspondence and sections of INDs, BLAs, NDAs, Annual Reports, Amendments, Supplements, Orphan Drug Applications, and other regulatory submissions. • Ability to travel, approximately 5%.
