Job Description

Buyer/Planner, Solar and BESS Equipment

Pivot Energy

• Draft PRs/POs & follow up, tracking to completion • Day-to-day planning & buying analysis • Invoice submission • Analyze PO metrics (PR→PO, OTD, etc.) • Analyze & improve transportation & logistics lanes • Inventory tracking and improvement • Manage RFQs for non-critical/non-strategic equipment • Organize and maintain diligence documentation • Track required certifications and regulatory requirements for all equipment • Support internal compliance reviews • Support contract management and adherence to commercial terms • Collaborate with Category Management to ensure contractual terms are current • Work closely with O&M to align on spare parts/replacement needs and RMAs • Support Procurement on data inputs and systems integration roll outs • Enforce procurement policies • Escalations to Procurement Manager, Category Manager and/or Sr. Director as needed • Resolve supplier quality and AP payment issues in collaboration with internal teams • Support onboarding and qualification of new suppliers • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and requirements • Contribute to risk management and escalation strategies for global supply chain disruptions • Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery; expedite as needed

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion to learn new things through self-study and structured settings
  • Ability to coordinate across internal and external teams
  • Ability to multitask
