Independent Contractor – Future of Mobility Trainer
DEKRA North America
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the DEKRA consulting and training group, collaborating with instructional designers and sales teams to create and deliver high-quality EV/HV safety courses. • Utilize your technical expertise in electrified vehicle technology to conduct training for customers, and service personnel. • Develop and manage training schedules and assessments. • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, such as workshops, webinars, and hands-on demonstrations. • Arrange for and execute on-site training as needed to meet client requirements. • Track and report on completed and upcoming training programs, ensuring accurate data management.
Job Requirements
- Automotive and Heavy Equipment Service Experience: Extensive experience working in automotive or heavy equipment service roles is required.
- High Voltage and Electric Vehicle Expertise: Knowledge and hands-on experience with high-voltage and EV repair is highly preferred.
- Facilitation and Coaching Skills: Strong experience in presenting, coaching, and facilitating technical training content to diverse audiences.
- Passion for Training: Enthusiasm for demonstrating and presenting vehicle product information to service teams and other stakeholders.
- Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT systems, learning management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Time Management and Organization: Exceptional scheduling and organizational skills to manage multiple training programs effectively.
- Preferred Skills: Certification in high-voltage systems or related automotive technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as NFPA 70E and EV safety regulations.
- Experience in creating engaging e-learning content or multimedia training materials.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
