Strong copywriting skills are essential for the Marketing Content Writer -you will craft foundational messaging, set quality standards, and create exemplary content that aligns with brand strategy. Success in This Role Looks Like - Consistently high-quality, polished content across all channels - Clear, engaging messaging that resonates with both internal and external audiences - Acceleration of content production and reduction of bottlenecks. - Leveraging AI to produce high quality, compliant, on-brand content. - Efficient content development supported by templates and repeatable processes. - Outputs that consistently reflect EPIC's tone and copy standards. LOCATION: Hybrid (3 days per week in-office) is preferred in one of the following offices: Atlanta (Sandy Springs) GA; Chicago IL; or San Ramon, CA But the hiring team is open to fully remote for well-qualified candidates with insurance industry experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO: A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to): - Build EPIC''s Content Engine - Write and produce compelling content across formats, including internal announcements, marketing and sales collateral, intranet content, web copy, social posts, thought leadership, and scripts. Design and implement templates, prompt libraries, and modular messaging components grounded in strong copywriting principles. - Develop scalable content workflows that improve efficiency while ensuring quality, consistency, compliance, and brand integrity. - Content Governance & Quality - Maintain governance frameworks that uphold voice, tone, accuracy, and regulatory standards. - Write and refine copy standards, messaging guidelines, and narrative frameworks used by teams and AI tools. - Conduct content reviews and provide editorial direction to ensure clarity and consistency at scale. - Partner Across the Business - Collaborate with Communications, Brand, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and subject matter experts to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content - Provide strategic copywriting support for executive communications, flagship initiatives, and high-visibility narratives - Improve Content Speed & Performance - Use copywriting expertise to continuously improve outputs and train models to better reflect EPIC's brand voice. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Required - 5+ years in editorial and writing roles, content strategy or communications. - Demonstrated copywriting expertise, with strong command of tone, clarity, narrative structure, and messaging hierarchy. - Hands-on experience with AI content tools, automated content workflows, and structured content systems. - Strong understanding of content governance and brand voice. Preferred - Experience in regulated industries (insurance, financial services, healthcare). - Background in internal/external communications or editorial leadership. COMPENSATION: The national average salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
