Head of Procurement

Unilode Aviation Solutions

• Ensures Accountability, Drive Results by developing, owning, and implementing the Procurement Strategy and governance framework across the Unilode Group. • Drives a culture of continuous improvement within regional procurement teams, collaborating with leadership to optimize supplier partnerships. • Introduces SMART SLAs into key contracts, ensuring service levels are met and include relevant service credits. • Drives cost reduction in spare parts procurement, particularly A parts from major OEMs by renegotiating contracts with key subcontractors. • Identifies and implements sourcing strategies to improve procurement efficiency and reduce risks. • Establishes procurement policies and ensures compliance with regulatory and industry requirements. • Develops strong relationships with suppliers, OEMs, and key stakeholders to enhance service delivery. • Supports procurement digitalization initiatives, ensuring data-driven decision-making and analytics. • Leads, mentors, and develops procurement teams to enhance expertise and performance across regions. • Collaborates with Finance, Operations, and other business functions to align procurement goals with overall company objectives. • Promotes sustainable and ethical sourcing practices in line with Unilode’s values and ESG goals.

Job Requirements

  • Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) certification.
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in international procurement and supply chain leadership.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement practices, contract drafting, and supplier management.
  • Experience in the aviation industry, particularly asset procurement and OEM supplier management, is highly desirable.
  • Established business and financial acumen to drive procurement efficiency.
  • Strong negotiator with expertise in contract drafting and supplier agreements.
  • Leadership skills with a strategic mindset to optimize sourcing and supplier management.
  • Robust analytical and quantitative skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to engage stakeholders across all levels.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and creativity in problem-solving within a dynamic business environment.
  • Solid project management skills, successfully delivering multiple, complex projects on time and within budget.
