• Contribute to the development of backend, frontend, or full-stack applications using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, and AWS, while supporting integration across distributed systems. • Write clean, testable, and efficient code following team standards and guidance from mentors. • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups to learn agile engineering practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and Product, to ensure smooth deployment and operation of services. • Research and propose ways to improve system reliability and developer productivity during the replatform effort.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in Java and an understanding of object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience with TypeScript, React, or modern web development frameworks is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, or RDS.
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Exposure to version control (Git) and continuous integration tools is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies, take initiative, and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Interest in fintech, blockchain, or scalable backend systems.

Role Description This is a remote position. We are seeking two experienced Database Administrators (DBAs) to support a major database upgrade project. The successful candidates will play a critical role in planning, executing, and validating the migration of our PostgreSQL and AWS RDS environments, ensuring high availability, minimal downtime, and data integrity throughout the process. Work will primarily follow Eastern Standard Time business hours, with flexibility required to perform critical upgrade activities during low-traffic windows such as late evenings or weekends. Focused on database architecture, upgrade strategy, performance tuning, and RDS service management throughout the upgrade lifecycle.
